Made from tightly woven light weight Mil. Spec. flight satin nylon twill and lined with smooth nylon satin in a pattern similar to the current light weight CWU-36P fire retardant military flight jacket.

The back features a bi-swing design which is a hold-over from an earlier Air Force Spec for this jacket, allowing for greater freedom of movement for the arms.

The jacket features two hold-all front velcro-close cargo pockets and a zippered pen/pencil pocket on the left arm sleeve.
